Arizona Wilderness Coalition is hosting a Wilderness Trail Restoration project for Veterans August 15-19, 2015. The project will take place in the Saddle Mountain Wilderness on the Kaibab National Forest. This project will include a variety of trail restoration practices including, tread repair, light brushing, and water mitigation techniques. Each day participants will be encouraged to participate in meditation and yoga activities provided by Nick Mani. Nick is a well-known Yoga instructor who offers classes for Veterans and others struggling with PTSD and other disabilities.  AWC will be providing healthy dinners for all participants throughout the event.  Each participant will need to provide their own personal camping equipment, breakfast, and lunch.  All tools and training will be given at the event. There is NO cost for this event and transportation to the project area from Flagstaff is available if needed.
Thank you very much for helping us spread the word for this event.
